1. Introduction

AlexaMods Labs ("AlexaMods Labs," "we," "our," or "us") develops and publishes the Force 5G NR – Network Utility application (the "App") for the Android operating system. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how that information is used, which third-party services are involved, and the choices and rights available to you.

This Policy applies solely to the App and this accompanying webpage. It does not apply to any other product, website, or service that may be offered by AlexaMods Labs.

By installing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Our Transparency Commitment

AlexaMods Labs is committed to describing the App's data practices in plain, accurate language. This Policy is written to reflect the App's actual technical behavior at the time of publication, and every statement below is intended to be verifiable against that behavior. We do not make privacy claims that the App's implementation does not support, and we will update this Policy whenever the App's functionality, permissions, or data practices change.

3. Information We Collect and How the App Works

Your privacy matters to us. Force 5G NR is designed as a network-diagnostic utility, and its core features — signal strength readouts, carrier information, ping tests, DNS lookups, and speed testing — are built to minimize the collection of personal information wherever technically possible.

3.1 No AlexaMods Labs Servers Store Your Personal Data

AlexaMods Labs does not operate or maintain backend servers that receive, store, or process your personal information. The App does not create user accounts, and there is no AlexaMods Labs database in which your diagnostic history, location, or device identifiers are retained.

3.2 On-Device Processing

Wherever technically possible, the diagnostic information the App reads — such as signal strength or connection type — is processed and displayed locally on your device and is not transmitted anywhere. Certain features, described in Section 4, necessarily communicate over the internet to function (for example, a speed test must exchange data with a remote server to measure throughput); these exchanges are limited to what each feature technically requires and are addressed individually below.

3.3 Information Collected by Third Parties

Some information may be collected directly by third-party services integrated into the App, principally Google Play Services and Google AdMob. This collection is carried out by Google under Google's own privacy policy, and is described in Section 5. AlexaMods Labs does not receive, store, or have access to the raw data Google collects through these services.

4. App Permissions Explained

To provide its network-diagnostic features, the App requests the Android permissions listed below. Android classifies permissions into two categories: normal permissions, which are granted automatically at install time, and dangerous (runtime) permissions, which require your explicit approval through an on-screen prompt before they take effect. Each permission is used strictly for the purpose described here.

4.1 Location Permission (Precise & Approximate) — Runtime Permission

Android's platform design ties Wi-Fi network details (such as the SSID of your connected network) and cellular tower or cell information to the Location permission group, because that data can indirectly reveal a device's approximate whereabouts. As a result, any Android app that reads Wi-Fi or cell diagnostic information — including Force 5G NR — must hold Location permission, regardless of whether the app has any interest in tracking a user's position. This requirement is imposed by the Android operating system, not by AlexaMods Labs.

Force 5G NR uses this permission exclusively to read cellular signal strength, Wi-Fi SSID, cell tower information, and related network diagnostics for on-screen display. This information is processed on your device to support those features and is not tracked, stored, or transmitted to AlexaMods Labs servers, because AlexaMods Labs does not operate servers that receive user data.

4.2 Phone State Permission — Runtime Permission

Force 5G NR requests the Phone State permission to read telephony and carrier metadata exposed by the Android platform, including your carrier name, SIM state, network generation (for example, 4G LTE or 5G NR), and signal-quality metrics such as RSRP, RSRQ, and SINR. This permission is used only to populate the App's diagnostic screens.

This permission does not give the App access to your phone number, call history, SMS messages, or contacts, and Force 5G NR does not use it to place, monitor, or record calls.

4.3 Network & Wi-Fi State Permission — Normal Permission

The App requests the Access Network State and Access Wi-Fi State permissions, which Android grants automatically at install time because they are classified as normal, low-risk permissions. These permissions let the App detect your current connection type (Wi-Fi, mobile data, or offline) and monitor connectivity changes so that diagnostic screens stay accurate in real time. They do not provide access to the content of your network traffic.

4.4 Internet Permission — Normal Permission

The Internet permission, also granted automatically at install time, allows the App to perform its core diagnostic functions: ping tests, DNS lookups, and upload/download speed tests. These features necessarily exchange data with external servers in order to measure network performance. The data exchanged is limited to what each test technically requires — for example, small volumes of standard or randomly generated test data — and is not linked to your identity or retained by AlexaMods Labs.

Taken together, none of the permissions above are used by AlexaMods Labs to build an advertising profile, monitor your behavior across other apps or websites, or track your movements over time. Their sole purpose is to power the diagnostic features described in this section. Section 5 explains how Google's own services, which operate independently of these permissions, may separately process certain information.

5. Google Play Services & Third-Party Advertising

Force 5G NR integrates a small number of third-party services from Google in order to operate reliably and to support the App's continued development at no direct monetary cost to you. This section explains what those services are, what they may collect, and how that differs from AlexaMods Labs' own practices described in Section 3.

5.1 Google Play Services

Force 5G NR relies on Google Play Services, a system-level suite of APIs that Google provides on most Android devices. Google Play Services may independently collect and process certain information, such as device identifiers, under Google's own privacy policy. AlexaMods Labs does not control, and is not privy to, the internal data-handling practices of Google Play Services beyond what Google publishes.

5.2 Google AdMob (Third-Party Advertising)

Force 5G NR uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob acts as an independent data controller for the information described below, and that information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by AlexaMods Labs.

What Google AdMob May Collect. Depending on your device, region, and consent choices, Google AdMob may automatically collect:

This information is collected directly by Google. AlexaMods Labs does not receive a copy of this data, does not operate the servers that store it, and cannot access it on an individual basis.

Advertising ID Explained. The Advertising ID (also called AAID or GAID) is a unique, user-resettable identifier supplied by Google Play Services for advertising purposes. It allows ad networks such as AdMob to measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalize the ads you see, without relying on more permanent device identifiers. On devices running Android 13 or later, apps must declare the AD_ID permission before they may access the Advertising ID; this declaration is typically handled automatically by the Google Mobile Ads SDK integrated into the App. If you opt out of ad personalization, the Advertising ID is transmitted as a string of zeros rather than its actual value.

Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads. Personalized ads are selected using signals such as your Advertising ID, approximate location, and app activity, with the aim of showing ads more relevant to your interests. Non-personalized ads are selected using limited contextual signals, such as the general subject matter of the App, rather than an advertising profile built around you. Force 5G NR's diagnostic features function identically regardless of which option applies to you.

Your Ad Controls. You may reset or opt out of the Advertising ID at any time through:

You can also review and adjust your advertising preferences directly through Google Ad Settings.

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Under Google's EU User Consent Policy, users located in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland must be presented with a consent mechanism before personal data is used for ad personalization, consistent with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive. Where this consent flow applies, you may withdraw or change your choice at any time, and declining consent does not restrict access to the App's core diagnostic features.

6. Data Processing

6.1 Where Processing Occurs

Where the App processes information to deliver its features, that processing occurs primarily on your device. The limited exceptions are the internet-dependent features described in Section 4.4 (ping, DNS lookup, and speed testing), which by their nature require communication with external network endpoints to produce a result, and the third-party processing carried out independently by Google as described in Section 5. AlexaMods Labs does not perform any additional server-side processing of your personal information beyond what is described in this Policy.

6.2 Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, AlexaMods Labs relies on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

7. Data Sharing

AlexaMods Labs does not sell your personal information and does not share it with data brokers or third-party marketing companies. The only sharing that occurs is the data collected directly by Google AdMob and Google Play Services, as described in Section 5 — this is not an arrangement where AlexaMods Labs transmits data to Google on your behalf, but rather Google's own independent collection. AlexaMods Labs may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of AlexaMods Labs, our users, or the public.

8. Data Retention

Because AlexaMods Labs does not operate servers that store your personal information, there is no AlexaMods Labs-controlled retention period to disclose for that data. Diagnostic information handled on your device persists only for as long as your device's operating system or the App itself retains it in memory or local cache, and is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. Information collected independently by Google AdMob and Google Play Services is retained according to Google's own data retention practices, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

9. Data Deletion

Because Force 5G NR does not transmit personal information to AlexaMods Labs servers, there is generally no AlexaMods Labs-held copy of your data to delete. You can remove any locally stored diagnostic information at any time by:

To reset or delete the Advertising ID used by Google AdMob, follow the steps in Section 5 under "Your Ad Controls." For data Google holds independently of the App, you may use Google's own account controls at myaccount.google.com.

If you believe AlexaMods Labs holds personal information about you that is not covered above, you may submit a deletion request using the contact details in Section 18, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

10. Data Security

AlexaMods Labs applies reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the App's limited data footprint, including:

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect information consistent with this Policy, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This Privacy Policy webpage is a static page and does not use cookies, analytics scripts, or tracking technologies of any kind. As a native Android application, Force 5G NR does not use browser cookies. Google AdMob may use comparable technologies, such as the Advertising ID or local storage identifiers, for the purposes described in Section 5; these are governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by AlexaMods Labs.

12. Your Privacy Rights

12.1 Rights for Users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, applicable data protection law may give you the right to:

12.2 Rights for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to:

AlexaMods Labs does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, because Google AdMob's use of device identifiers for ad personalization may fall within CCPA/CPRA's broader definition of "sharing," you may exercise your opt-out choice using the Advertising ID controls described in Section 5, or by contacting us using the details in Section 18.

12.3 Rights for Users in Other Regions

Users outside the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and California may still contact us using the details in Section 18 with any privacy-related request, and we will respond in a manner consistent with applicable law and good privacy practice.

13. International Data Transfers

AlexaMods Labs does not operate its own international server infrastructure, since it does not maintain servers that store personal information. Where information is transmitted to Google as described in Section 5, Google may process that information on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Google maintains its own safeguards for international data transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

14. Children's Privacy

Force 5G NR is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and AlexaMods Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is not enrolled in Google Play's Families program. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the details in Section 18 so that we can investigate and take appropriate action, which may include deletion of any such information to the extent it is within our control.

This Privacy Policy and the App may reference or link to third-party services, including Google's Privacy Policy and Google Ad Settings. AlexaMods Labs does not control these third-party destinations and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service before providing it with information.

This Privacy Policy describes AlexaMods Labs' privacy practices and does not constitute legal advice or a warranty of any kind. While we implement the safeguards described in Section 10, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information processed in connection with the App. Nothing in this Policy is intended to create rights or obligations beyond those required by applicable law.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality, applicable law, or our data practices. Any changes take effect upon publication on this page, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy will always reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically; continued use of the App after a revised Policy is published constitutes acknowledgment of the updated terms.
